“Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times” (Aeschilus)
There are people that choose to be happy. They know what happiness is to them and they make an effort to dedicate to such choice with loyalty and sacrifice.
Others instead do not know what happiness is to themselves. They race looking for it, thinking it is elsewhere and momentarily finding it in ephemeral things, finding themselves then in unpleasant situations that they are forced to accept because of social norms and conventions and they keep looking for happiness because they don’t know in what it consists.
Happiness is simple: it’s the laugh of a stranger, the love of the ones close to you, the trust in a friend, the stimuli you get from the outside world, the possibilities you have, the goals you set, and why not? … the dreams you have!
